KBDB – YOUTH & BEGINNERS CLUB ANTWERP – REGULATIONS ZOW RACE 2025
1. Flights
- 3 flights will be organized (Which are approved by the KBDB):
- o Southern: Les Isnes
- o Eastern: Tongeren
- o Western: Aalst
- After the entry, a draw will determine in the local which flight goes to which release site. A random youth member will be chosen for this.
2. Participants & pigeons
- Each enthusiast may register a maximum of 10 pigeons per flight.
- Total maximum: 30 pigeons over the 3 flights combined.
- Note: The number of pigeons must be the same on all flights.
- o Example: with 7 pigeons on flight A, also 7 pigeons on flights B and C.
- All pigeons will compete in one category (old, yearlings, and young pigeons together).
- No messenger pigeons are allowed.
- All pigeons must be registered in the name of the participant, otherwise they will not count.
3. Entry & release
- Entry: Friday, September 12, from 18:00 to 21:00
- o Location: Pigeon Association Bevel, Heikant 6, 2560 Bevel
- Release: Saturday, September 13 from 09:00
- o By transporter Bauwens
4. Registration fee & transport fee
- Registration fee: €6 per participant
- o Includes: unlimited fries & snacks at the fries stand
- Transport fee: €1 per pigeon
5. Competition proceedings
- Each flight will be played 1 on 2 (instead of 1 on 3).
- Deposit per flight: 1x 50/50 (sponsored by T.V.)
- Pool letter from local Bevel will be used (see attachment).
- When filling out the pool letters, we also ask you to provide your email address and bank account number. This is to send the results digitally via email and to transfer winnings directly to your account. This way you won't have to come by later. • Results will also be published online.
6. Championship
- Only the 1st registered pigeon per flight counts for the championship.
- Ranking:
- 1. Whoever catches their 1st registered pigeon in all 3 flights wins over someone who only catches 2.
- 2. In case of equal number of prizes, the total coefficient decides.
- 3. The most prizes and the lowest coefficient wins.
- This system ensures that everyone has equal chances, regardless of the number of registered teams.
7. Participation confirmation
- To organize everything smoothly (catering & entry), we ask you to confirm your participation and number of pigeons.
