After many years of top performances as a Noyon specialist, Patrick temporarily hung up his dust coat and barely played for several years. But as with most enthusiasts, the pigeon bug is invincible: he picked up where he left off with the choice of the (heavy) middle distance. The sprint pigeons were selected to the bone, as was the custom, but new investments were needed. He approached Luc Luyckx, Franky Appelmans (PEC - Porsche line) and also the best of Anthony Maes. Here he obtained a daughter of his progenitor ‘Bonten Provinciaal’ and Patrick also went in search of the winning blood of ‘Papillon’ and ‘Sero Sero’. More recently, reinforcements arrived via Brinkman and Verstraete from the phenomenal Tom Van Gaver, more specifically from the ‘Finn’, ‘Ricky’ and ‘Charlie’ lines. Crossbreeding with the aforementioned breeds led to astonishing results, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th... Provincial Orléans and so much more.
