Thibaud Lesire started playing with pigeons about 25 years ago. The foundation of the beautiful results achieved lay in the sprint pigeons of the well-known tandem Thibaut-Boons from Sombreffe.
Until 2018, impressive levels were reached, including

At the beginning of 2019, significant changes in his professional life meant that the lab coat had to be temporarily hung up. The opening of a pet and pigeon store under the brand “Poils et Plumes” in Waret-la-chaussée Eghezée. Thibaud then made the difficult decision to sell his entire colony, except for three pigeons.
And as with many others, the pigeon obsession proved to be resilient, as once work was stable again, he purchased pigeons once more. He went back in search of his original line and found it again with various fanciers who had bought from his total sale at the time. Additionally, he immediately brought in reinforcement, so the current stock consists of pigeons with origins from, among others:
- Thibaut-Boons (“Nels”, “Maria”, “Niko”…)
- Wouters Marcel via Boris Burniat (“Den Ad”, “Extreem”, “Leeuw”…)
- Pipa Elite Center via Hadrien Marsille (“Porsche 911”, “Best Kittel”)
- Vrancken-Berden (“Olympic Rico”)
In 2021, a few young pigeons were raced “for fun,” and they performed more than decently, while in 2022, Thibaud raced only 5 cocks that immediately brought him several victories and a prize percentage of 75%. The 2023 season began rather poorly when his best flyer “Le Kev” was caught by a bird of prey. Thibaud decided not to race the others anymore and to start over with young pigeons from 2023. Despite the busy schedule at the store and the limited time spent on the pigeons, he could still speak of a solid season, as with participation in just 6 races, the young pigeon team achieved 105 prizes from 203 entries, including:
Momignies 303 pigeons: 1,6,7,8,9,10,12,13,20,21,24… (22/36)
Laon 253 pigeons: 9,10,12… (16/33)
Momignies 232 pigeons: 4,26… (16/33)
In 2024, pigeon racing was taken seriously again with the promising yearlings of ‘23. Immediately, Thibaud classified among the top prizes in sprints and middle distance. As the icing on the cake, he was flagged with the 2nd Provincial Ace Pigeon KBDB Sprint Yearlings
