Hautrage, a district of the city of Saint-Ghislain in the province of Hainaut. This small rural community is known for its green and tranquil surroundings. The entire region is famous for its natural beauty and rich history. Here in this green oasis, one finds the beautiful lofts with aviaries that provide the pigeons with ample oxygen from the tandem Surain-Pion. With over 40 years of activity in pigeon racing, they clearly know the ins and outs of the trade and understand that good pigeons are essential for performance. As a direct supplier of "Sibylle": 1st National & 5th International Pau in 2021 with father and son Flasse, this champion partnership has gained even more prestige and accolades in their already rich palmarès!
It was in 1980 that the adventure of pigeon racing began here without any apparent link to our beloved sport. In the early days, they primarily competed in sprints and small middle-distance flights. Starting in 1994, they sought to expand and added flights from the large middle-distance, long-distance, and heavy long-distance categories. No effort was spared to embrace all these disciplines, and substantial investments were made in pigeons from Deneufbourg Yvon, Debieve J CL, Cirier W, Joosens Jos, Potteaux Jose, Ginfray Carl, Wieschaar Bernard, Masure Thierry, Ameloot Gerard, Family 3D, Petteau-Choquet, Daniel Dominique (cross of Martens Jos, Stein NL). From this, a strong bloodline was formed that is now found in the lofts.
The goal has always been to obtain good pigeons. In their eyes, the quality of the pigeons, good care, and adequate accommodation are the foundational pillars for achieving good performances.
In the last 2 years, unfortunately, pigeon racing has taken a back seat due to family circumstances, but solid results have still been delivered: proof of the winning blood that populates the lofts in Hautrage! Below is a summary of the main pigeons, results, and references from the loft.
