24-06-25 Announcement from the KBDB Announcement for the attention of the associations and the fanciers – start of the young pigeons in the small middle-distance races
The weather gods have not been very favorable to us in recent weeks.
From 28/06/2025, races are scheduled for young pigeons in the small middle-distance category.
You will understand that, in light of the welfare of our pigeons, we must handle our young pigeons with extreme care.
We are aware that the small middle-distance races fall under the authority of the provinces, but a general decision is necessary for the sake of our young pigeons, and on the other hand, every fancier/every province must be treated equally.
Advice was sought from the respective PE’s/SPE’s on this matter.
By majority vote, the decision was made to commence the races in the small middle-distance category for young pigeons starting from 05/07/2025.
