Protect what is valuable: prevent the theft of your pigeons!

KBDB In recent weeks, a tremendous increase has been observed in burglaries or attempted burglaries in the pigeon lofts of our pigeon enthusiasts.

6-12-24 Notice from the KBDB Protect what is valuable: prevent theft of your pigeons!

In recent weeks, a significant increase has been observed in break-ins or attempts to break into the lofts of our pigeon enthusiasts.

We do not wish to cause panic but ask our enthusiasts to be extra vigilant! This period, with long and dark nights, is the perfect season for unscrupulous individuals to break in, both in homes, ... and also in pigeon lofts. A pigeon theft has not only financial consequences but primarily causes much emotional suffering for the owners.

I have personally received several emotional phone calls from enthusiasts who have fallen victim to a pigeon theft. Their stories touch me deeply. I am very concerned about their fate, and it pains me that I can do no more for them than just provide a listening ear.

The KBDB calls upon all its pigeon enthusiasts to be alert and, if suspicious activities occur in and around the loft, to try to note the license plate of the vehicle present, take photos of suspicious activities, ... This information is extremely valuable and may be used later if a theft occurs in the area.

We must help each other!

We advise our enthusiasts to be extremely cautious when sharing information with the outside world!
Unfair individuals outside our sport can also take advantage of this.

                Sincerely,
                The national president,
                Pascal Bodengien.
