KBDB 31-01-24 New Automatic System for Updating Belgian Pigeons
From 1/02/2024 there will be a NEW APPLICATION available in KBDB-admin specifically for the automatic updating of Belgian pigeons for which the applicant holds the ownership certificate.
Enthusiasts can request an update of a Belgian pigeon themselves via their KBDB login under the item “My rings and updates” – Update of Belgian pigeons. The ownership certificate no longer needs to be sent to our administrative services. A detailed procedure can be found on our website www.kbdb.be/handleidingen as well as in your login.
The cost of an update that you handle yourself in KBDB-admin is €1.50 per update. Once the update is accepted by the most recently known owner at the KBDB, it will be transferred to your name and you will automatically receive an invoice.
If the owner of the pigeon is not yet known (e.g., the rings have not yet been allocated by the associations) or if the owner cannot respond for one reason or another, the automatic update cannot be executed. You will need to request the update with the intervention of the KBDB (send the ownership certificate or visit our offices).
Unanswered requests will be deleted after 15 days and the applicant will receive an email confirmation.
Enthusiasts who still wish to request their updates from the KBDB by sending them, offering them at a fair, or visiting our offices will pay the amount of €2.00 per update.
