IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THE SUBMISSION OF THE LOFT LISTS 2025

The next step in the automation of the KBDB administration has been taken!

TO THE FANS

A new procedure for the online submission of the loft lists 2025 has been established.

Via the enthusiasts login on our website www.kbdb.be, enthusiasts can digitally activate their loft list for 2025 and, if necessary, make limited adjustments.

The submission of the loft list is done online, after digital signing via a confirmation email that contains a link you must click on to definitively confirm your membership. You do not need to collect or submit your loft list at the association.

However, there are several cases where online activation is not possible and where a paper version still needs to be filled out:

  • a promotional loft list
  • a marketing loft list
  • a loft list where the loft address changes
  • a loft list that requires coordinates to be added or changed
  • a loft list from a tandem whose composition changes (adding or removing a member)
  • a loft list (association/tandem) where the designation of the administrative responsible member changes
  • a loft list of a minor member
  • a loft list of a new member
  • a loft list where one or more members do not provide an email address.
  • An association/tandem where the members provide the same email address.

Online submission will start from October 15, 2024, and will close on October 31, 2024.

Members who do not have an email address and are unable to submit the loft list digitally can print their loft list at any time via the login on the KBDB platform or, after November 1, collect a paper version at the association where they were affiliated in 2024. After checking and possibly making corrections, they must submit the loft list to an association of their choice within their PE.

Through online submission, the personal data of the members can be adjusted, including the alternative address (for verification), the owner of the pigeons, the choice regarding the transfer of data to third parties, as well as the association where they want to submit the loft list.

Enthusiasts who are already managing their ‘pigeon list’ via the login can add this to the loft list. There must be pigeons in the ‘pigeon list’ to complete the procedure digitally.

The possibility is provided to update the pigeon list during the procedure of online submission of the loft list. It is recommended to do this in advance. New in the pigeon list item is that you can also select the pigeons from your pairing list to add to the ‘pigeon list’.

Also new is that enthusiasts can transfer their ring orders to their association when activating their loft list. Enthusiasts filling out a paper loft list must follow the guidelines from their association.

The digitally registered members must make the payment for their affiliation to the chosen association.

For the members who manually submit their loft lists, little changes. They obtain their loft list from the association and must submit it back there.

What is new is that members who collect their pre-printed loft list at the association will see the rings from their ‘pigeon list’ printed on the reverse side if they use this tool via the enthusiasts login. If there are no pigeons listed online in the ‘pigeon list’, the rings from the pairing list will automatically appear on the pre-printed loft list that the association provides to its members. The enthusiast only needs to make adjustments or additions to that list.

TO THE ASSOCIATIONS

The loft lists 2025 will no longer be sent on paper to the associations.

Associations can consult a table through their association login showing the members who submitted a loft list to their association in 2024. This table will indicate which lofts have been digitally activated and which members have downloaded their loft list 2025 for printing.

The association then only needs to print the loft lists of the remaining members starting November 1 and provide them to their members or let their members collect them.

A button will be provided where the association can view an overview of the ordered rings for the already activated loft lists 2025.

The association will also be able to print blank loft lists (A4 size).

During online registration, enthusiasts have the option to adjust the association they wish to join. Enthusiasts changing associations will be marked on the table so that the association knows the member has joined a different association.

All enthusiasts who cannot register their loft list online due to the aforementioned cases must print the loft list themselves or receive it through their association and return it by November 15 at the latest. The association ensures that these loft lists reach the KBDB on paper in time. For the digitally submitted loft lists, the association has nothing to do.

The association collects all contributions from loft lists submitted for their association, whether digital or paper (excluding contributions from promotional lofts).

The billing of the loft lists and the rings to the association will be done the same way as last year. The online procedure for ordering the rings 2025 by the association remains unchanged.
