Races for the upcoming weekend (basketings on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday – June 18, 19, 20 & 21, 2025)
Given the predicted high temperatures for today and the coming days, it has been decided, in accordance with art. 44 of the NSR, to reduce the number of pigeons in the baskets for the sprint and semi-long distance races by 10% for the basketings from Thursday, June 19, 2025, to Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Regarding the national race on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from La Souterraine, the maximum number of pigeons per basket is set at 18, as for the long distance race.
During transport, additional stopovers must be provided to water the pigeons with fresh water.
Furthermore, we strongly urge that the carriers strictly respect the allowed stacking height and leave sufficient free space between the top basket and the roof of the vehicle.
