On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February 2026, Fugare, the international trade fair for pigeon fanciers, will once again take place at Kortrijk Xpo. This year as well, the fair will welcome more than 80 exhibitors, presenting their full product range and the latest innovations to the public. With this strong line-up, Fugare once again confirms its status as a must-attend event for pigeon enthusiasts.

Exceptionally, no live pigeons will be exhibited during this edition. Following a recent outbreak of the highly pathogenic H5N1 virus (avian influenza) at a turkey farm in Deerlijk, the competent authorities, in consultation with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC), have imposed preventive measures. As part of these measures, the presence of live pigeons is temporarily not permitted.

The organisation remains in close consultation with the FASFC and the city of Kortrijk. Any updates or additional information will be communicated in due course via www.fugare.be.

All other exhibitors will be present without any restrictions. Visitors will be able to meet manufacturers of by-products and nutritional supplements, specialised pigeon feed companies, and many other suppliers from the sector. On both Saturday and Sunday, experienced staff members will be available to answer questions and provide practical advice. In addition, representatives of various One Loft Races will enthusiastically present their competitions and concepts.

Fugare also offers a wide and high-quality range in the field of loft construction, aviaries, loft equipment, heating and ventilation systems. For those seeking inspiration or targeted information, the fair remains a unique meeting place, where visitors can engage directly with specialised professionals, all under one roof.

Although the absence of live pigeons is understandably disappointing this year, Fugare remains an essential event for pigeon fanciers thanks to its extensive range of products and services.

The organisation looks forward to welcoming visitors once again to Fugare 2026 at Kortrijk Xpo.
