Announcement regarding the national race flight on the large half distance on 15/06/24 – intervention of the national president
In recent days, my phone has been buzzing non-stop, and I received a tremendous amount of messages regarding the replacement of Poitiers on 15/06/2024 by Châteauroux (Lignières en Berry).
I have therefore revisited and thoroughly reviewed the minutes of the national sports committee from 04/10/2023.
During this meeting, it was clearly stated that the replacement liberation site must be located on the same flight line as the initially planned liberation site.
I felt it was my duty, as national president, to intervene in this matter and to strictly enforce the decisions made by the members of the National Sports Committee.
This is why Chateauroux (Lignières en Berry) on 15/06/2024 will again be replaced by a liberation site near Poitiers, namely Vivonne.
I fully realize that such changes cause confusion among both the enthusiasts and the participating associations.
Moving forward, efforts should be made to choose more central race flights to ensure that everyone has the same chances. The wind will do its work! It cannot be the intention to organize national race flights to the benefit of one province.
The national president,
Pascal Bodengien.

Announcement regarding the change of the national KBDB race from POITIERS on 15/06/24
On 28/05/2024, our KBDB administration received notification from the French federation in response to our request for a liberation permit for the race flight from Poitiers on 15/06/2024, stating that the liberation site Poitiers has been closed.
As a result, action needed to be taken and a replacement had to be sought, which, with an overwhelming majority of the members of the NSC (9 votes in favor and 1 against), was found in Châteauroux (Lignières en Berry).
This means that the national KBDB race from Poitiers will be replaced by CHATEAUROUX (Lignières en Berry) on the date of 15/06/2024.
The national president, The chairman of the NSC,
Pascal Bodengien. Denis Sapin.
