KBDB announcement race flights and training flights cancelled this week
To the associations of PE Limburg – Antwerp – Flemish Brabant
Due to the predicted extreme heat, there will be no training flights or race flights allowed from Tuesday, July 1, 2025, through Thursday, July 3, 2025.
This measure is taken with the welfare of the pigeons in mind and to avoid unnecessary risks. We ask everyone to observe this strictly.

Bauwens/Lathouwers
Given the predicted weather forecasts with high temperatures and the cancellations from many customers for Wednesday, we have mutually decided with accompanying Lathouwers not to go out on Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning.
We will therefore not pick up and transport any flights (Merchtem, Vilvoorde, Quiévrain, Momignies, Soissons, or Noyon), so please do not basket your pigeons.
Not only are these temperatures too high for both man and animal, logically, the interest in training young pigeons is nearly zero with this weather.
We are taking a break with regard to training flights and midweek flights.
You can always request to reschedule your auction by notifying the KBDB.
If you choose a new date, please keep us informed.
If we do end up returning empty crates, you will be notified separately.
