The municipality of Arendonk has been dealing with nuisance caused by pigeons for some time now. Especially around the church tower in the center, they create a lot of mess. To tackle the problem, a pair of peregrine falcons was released in the church tower by falconers.

Since the intention is to scare away the wild pigeons while leaving the sport pigeons alone, the municipality has now decided to remove the peregrine falcon pair from the church tower. In the meantime, other solutions are being sought.
