The Van Limbergen loft has been a well-established name for many years, particularly in middle-distance racing. As Gert has always aimed to breed true all-round pigeons capable of performing at every distance, long-distance races were occasionally added to the programme in recent years—with great success!
This season, they ventured into extreme long-distance racing for the first time, and here too the results were immediately very satisfying. It hardly needs saying that the Van Limbergen pigeons are true all-rounders.
Over the past four years, the lofts in Lede have achieved no fewer than 88 outright first prizes over distances from 100 to 1,000 km. Including duplications, that figure rises to more than 230 first prizes!
