Avec des victoires provinciales à Gien (à deux reprises) et à Soulliac, et des succès réguliers dans les Grandes Régions, le père et le fils Geris peuvent à juste titre être considérés comme faisant partie des meilleurs colombophiles du Limbourg. Ils excellent chaque semaine dans les courses de demi-fond, leur discipline de prédilection, et s'aventurer sur les distances extrêmes de demi-fond et de fond ne les a pas le moins du monde intimidés. On peut sans hésiter les qualifier de colonie complète, où la compétition de haut niveau, de 100 à 800 km, est tout simplement inscrite dans leurs gènes. Guido et Thomas Geris ont fait leurs débuts aux enchères de Pitts l'année dernière avec une collection de pigeons absolument magnifiques, et cette année encore, ils présentent un groupe à couper le souffle !
