Avec 5 classements au concours national des pigeons as sur une période de 6 ans, on peut à juste titre parler d’un colombier de tout premier plan au niveau national dans la vitesse ! Michel Hovens est passionné par les pigeons extrêmement rapides et s’est initialement tourné vers des colombiers de pointe tels que Stickers-Donckers et Hermans-Bonné. Chez ce dernier, il a obtenu, à sa grande satisfaction, des descendants notamment de « Den Hollander » : 1er Crack Pigeon Duivenkrant, 10e pigeon Olympiade et 13e pigeon as national en 2014.
Entre-temps, Michel a encore renforcé sa colonie avec des pigeons de Thibaut-Boons, Kobe Herbots, Eddy Esmanne (lignée de pointe du regretté Roger Ponnet), Marcel Wouters et Sonia Van der Maelen. Sans aucun doute, une vente aux enchères qui mérite toute votre attention !
